Last Boardriders event a success

Shane Sykes and Jaco Kapp come out on top.

The North Coast Boardriders held their last surf contest of the year with their Summer Surf Pro at Willard beach on Saturday, December 6.

After plenty of heats, the field was narrowed down to the finalists for an epic showdown.

In the Under 20 division, Shane Sykes smashed his way to the top, beating long time rival Richard Kidd and Braiden Coates.

In the Open Men’s division Jaco Kapp managed to make it two in a row in the Open division and walked away with top honours with Ryan Balfour in second, Byron Lindsay in third and Mikhael Vawda was fourth.
