Passion was on full display and found in many guises at the Ride4Rhino event at Seaton Estate on Saturday.
Organised by Kim Isaacs of Whicker’s Paddock the funds collected from the event went to Project Rhino’s on-going efforts to monitor and protect the endangered black rhino, one of the continent’s most iconic species.
The team from the Whicker’s Paddock equestrian centre: Molly Fitzgerald, Tessa Schroenn, Joshua Edwards and Lairen Schroenn.
“We had a great turnout with 90 horse and rider combinations riding from Seaton Estate to the beach and back. The competition was won by a team comprising Ellie Canning, Sarah Jayne Lindeman, Tiffany Jane Wait and York Lawrence who came closest to the time set,” said Isaacs.
The market was well supported, especially when Qadasi, the acoustic duo, entertained visitors with their proudly South African tunes that tug on the heartstrings.
