KZN women’s coach to give training in KwaDukuza
Dinesha made history in 2015 when she became only the eighth woman in South African cricket, and first in KZN, to be awarded her level three coaching certificate.
Encouraging local girls to get out onto the cricket field, Manor Cricket Academy will bring South African cap Dinesha Devnarain to KwaDukuza for a dynamic coaching clinic this August.
Dinesha made history in 2015 when she became only the eighth woman in South African cricket, and first in KZN, to be awarded her level three coaching certificate.
She was Cricket SA’s domestic cricketer of the year in 2015 and the captain of the South African women’s team for the Australia and Ireland tour and has since emerged as a great coaching talent.
Join Dinesha at Gledhow Cricket Grounds on August 17 from 9am until 10.30am (U7 – U9) and 11am to 1pm (U10 to U15).
The coaching clinic will specifically deal with the basics, including batting, bowling and fielding.
The cost is R250 per child (book before August 10).
A maximum of 20 girls per session will be enrolled.
