PICS: Rolling the wood at the Umhlali Ladies Spring Classic
Northlands Bowling Club ladies took top honours.
Bowling clubs flocked to the Umhlali Country Club greens to compete in the annual Umhlali Ladies Spring Classic last weekend.
About 88 competitors from across the province took part with the ultimate winners being Jenny Robinson, Maria Dreyer, Pat Wolstenholne and Jill Buzzard from Northlands Bowling Club.
Second place was taken by Hillary Bowling Club’s Maretha de Kock, Lindi Samuel, Lynn Watson and Monique Wells. Third and fourth places were bagged by local ladies. In third bowlers Di Montgomery, Jill Hackland, Cheryl Mostert and Moira Hutchison and the in fourth Lynn Hulett, Lesley-Anne Park, Gwen Clarke and Judy Strydom from Umhlali.
