Sportsmanship makes the game

Clear skies recently made a trip by Footy Kids worth it when they went to play against Learnmore’s Academy at Ashton College. The amazing weather yielded a positive turnout and the support from the sidelines and kids all having fun ensured that everyone enjoyed the game.

There were two games in total with the first being played by the young ones aged between five and six. They ran themselves into a standstill as they gunned for some goals. With it just being kids to have fun, it was decided not to keep score.

The second game grew slightly more intense with the seven to eight year olds now playing. The sportsmanship exhibited by all the players was lovely and it was good to see them learning to respect each other on the field from such a young age – and more importantly, have fun.

Thanks go out to Learnmore’s Academy for hosting Footy Kids who looks forward to hosting them for the next match.
