#Footy: Scoring goals at Townsend Park
We are grateful to have everyone back and it's always so awesome to see children and adults alike enjoying the outdoor facilities.
After being locked down for a few months, Footy has been pumping the past few weeks with everyone enjoying being back at our facilities at Townsend park.
This is due to Footy offering pretty much a sporting code for every sport lover irrelevant of age, gender, fitness or skill level and we have seen many new players and teams joining us.
The players and spectators have embraced their new-found freedom after these trying times and are grateful for the opportunity to get fit again and play sport in such a social environment.
We are grateful to have everyone back and it’s always so awesome to see children and adults alike enjoying the outdoor facilities.
The most excited are definitely the little Footy kids who, according to their parents, can’t wait for their weekly Footy sessions.
These sessions consist of a warm up age and skill level appropriate drills and then a match to finish off every session ensuring the kiddies benefit from each session while having fun and burning off as much energy as possible to assist the parents in the evenings.

We currently hold training sessions for kids from ages 4 to 14 years of age (boys and girls).
Footy has these leagues running: soccer (14 teams), cricket (6 teams) and netball (8 teams).
The teams are fighting hard to qualify for the play-off come end of the season to have a shot at winning the league title and bragging rights for 2020.
Footy has also started an over-35 weekly soccer group for any of the ballies out there keen to dust off their boots and join us for a social kick around.
Have a cool week, hope to see you on the pitch.
