#Footy: Little footers play their hearts out
Every game was super competitive with some great footy on display, some great goals and a very vocal crowd watching.
On Saturday morning our U8 and U10 players took on Learnmore’s Soccer Academy at Simbithi, then in the afternoon Footy hosted the men’s premier and social league finals Kids Academy Matches.
We kicked off with our little ones aged 6 to 7 years old, playing 15 minute to ensure they were given enough fluids in the heat.
Coach Chester said it is safe to say that all the players played their hearts out, with both teams ending exhausted but with smiles from ear to ear.
The next game was for our 8 to 10 year old was like watching a Real Madrid vs Barcelona game.
The boys were all playing so well, with both some incredible individual skills and teamwork on display.
Both teams kept the scoreboard ticking over as they exchanged goals at both ends.
It was an exciting game to watch and ended in a fair 5-all.
Thank you to Learnmore’s Soccer Academy for hosting us and thank you to all the parents for the amazing vocal support. It was a true showcase of the beautiful game.
