Masters of all win football match claiming first ever Luthuli Tournament title
The games were hosted by the Chief Albert Luthuli Museum in celebration of the 60 year anniversary of Luthuli winning the Nobel Peace Prize.
Football lovers were kept on the edge of their seats as twelve teams demonstrated animated football during the Chief Albert Luthuli Soccer Tournament on Sunday.
The Stanger High School grounds were alive with excitement after Nkobongo Masters became the first champions of the Luthuli tournament, beating Mofaya FC by 1-0 in the final match.
Nkobongo went through Indluyamandla FC, beating them 1-0, while Mofaya won by 2-1 against CBD warriors in the semi-finals.

Chief Luthuli became Africa’s first Nobel Peace Prize winner in 1960.
He was the president of the African National Congress.
