Firing up the greens!

Ballito's best bowlers descended on Brettenwood on Friday for the first competition in months.

Eighty bowlers brought their top game to the Brettenwood Estate competition on Friday afternoon.

The competition was held at the Umhlali Country Club’s green and the winners, Graham Cashmore, Glenn Smith, Sam Weaver and Malcolm Weaver, delivered their bowls with impressive accuracy.

President of the Umhlali Bowls Club, Joe Marais said they were excited to play a proper competition after a long sabbatical during lockdown.

“We are very grateful to Brettenwood for sponsoring us and both social and competitive bowlers had a great time,” said Marais.
