Ballies and groms alike ripped through waves with gusto for the title of the popular bodysurfing event, King of the Shorebreak, on Sunday.

Sables Creatures was well-supported in the fundraiser, co-organised by Mozambik and Concha Café, raising some R26 000.

There were 5 ‘kings’ crowned in their respective categories: Morgan Michie (Groms), Kylie Balfour (Lighties), Great Languelf (Rippers), Herman Howell (Ballies) and Oscar Burgess (The Champs).
