Superb tennis performance at Umhlali Country Club
According to Wayne Atherstone of Umhlali club, the team spirit which has been created amongst all the team members filters through the club, strengthening the friendships and overall club spirit.
The ETA mixed league smashed their final matches this weekend coming out strong after 5 weeks on the court.

The Umhlali Country Club players played at home on Saturday, proving themselves to be a strong opposition with 2 teams winning their divisions and 2 coming second.

According to Wayne Atherstone of Umhlali club, the team spirit which has been created amongst all the team members filters through the club, strengthening the friendships and overall club spirit.

“Our ladies hosting skills and team’s friendly comradery have made our post-match celebrations a huge attraction amongst the travelling sides.”
“It was amazing to see so many new faces playing their first league matches for our club, enjoying the experience of competitive fun,” said Atherstone.
Social games will take place today (Saturday, June 11).

Atherstone thanked Kayler Hulett for relocating from her varsity for the entire league and to Jen Thornhill for putting up with her husband Phil for all 5 weeks!
