Real Magic brings annual Maphumulo mayoral cup home

Top-notch football was on display at Sabuyazi Sports Ground as soccer teams recently competed at the annual Maphumulo mayoral cup.
Real Magic won this year’s cup and walked away with a trophy, medals, soccer kits and R8 000.
The ladies soccer final was won by the Royal Eagles while netball winners were Mthandeni Ladies who won a trophy, medals, netball kits and R4 000.
Maphumulo mayor Zibuyisile Khuzwayo-Dlamini said she hosted the tournament to support young soccer and netball players, as well as to identify new talent that would help re-energize sporting activities in Maphumulo.
The competition started at ward level last November.
