Running Wild fun run raises more than R30k for orphans
184 North Coast residents of every age and fitness level enjoyed a morning of perfect weather; running, walking and strolling through Rain Farm Game Lodge.
More than R31 000 was raised for The North Coast Courier Orphan Fund after a large turnout at the inaugural Running Wild fun run on Sunday.

Participants could choose to do a 5km or 10km route at a pace of their choosing, which was often leisurely based on the difficult terrain.

There were an intrepid few who ran the whole distance however, with Ross Nel winning the 5km and Kevin Cassie bagging the 10km.
The run represents an important fundraiser for the Orphan Fund, with funds being injected directly back into the community in aid of orphans and vulnerable children.

“We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us on Sunday for the fun run. It was an incredible event which could only be possible with the support of the North Coast community.
