Top class bowls at Umhlali’s 16th annual Dolphin Coast Classic
Teams came from some of the more famous clubs from across the country, including the Johannesburg Bowls Association, Natal Inland Bowls, KZN Natal Country Bowls, Kingfisher and Port Natal Bowls Association.
The 16th annual Dolphin Coast Classic bowls tournament saw 24 teams compete over 3 days, with mixed teams from the Stella and Hibberdene bowling clubs emerging victorious last Sunday.
Teams from across the country descended on the Umhlali Country Club’s bowls rinks last week vying for the grand prize of R14 000.

First place was taken by Tommy Potgieter, Bruce Hoyer, Des and Mally Hean of the Stella and Hibberdene bowling clubs with 95 points.
In second were Wayne Ritmuller, Dion Audie, Doug Bashford and Wayne Roberts (94 points) who were followed by Ken Fann, Paul White, Clint Duncan and Ryan Warren (92 points).

Teams came from some of the more famous clubs from across the country, including the Johannesburg Bowls Association, Natal Inland Bowls, KZN Natal Country Bowls, Kingfisher and Port Natal Bowls Association.

Tournament director, Billy Foster extended his thanks to the sponsors of the Dolphin Coast Classic.
