Seals meet Olympic swimmers Ayrton Sweeney and Emma Chelius
Sweeney, an individual medley specialist who has competed in the Commonwealth Games and Chelius, an Olympic semi-finalist in Tokyo, gave a clinic on November 7.
The Seals Swimming North Coast team are motivated to take gold in their upcoming galas after hosting Olympic quality swimmers Ayrton Sweeney and Emma Chelius.
Sweeney, an individual medley specialist who has competed in the Commonwealth Games and Chelius, an Olympic semi-finalist in Tokyo, gave a clinic on November 7.
It was a perfect opportunity to learn about both the technical aspects like dynamic stretching, diving, streamlines and breath work, as well as the experience of being able to meet their heroes.
Chelius was able to talk about her time in Tokyo and what it takes to become and Olympian, motivating the young swimmers to aim high and chase their dreams.
They will no doubt be focused for their upcoming meet.
