Groms flex their muscles in NC-Brag junior surfing champs at Tiffany’s Reef

The atmosphere was electric as 45 surfers took on strong waves to vie for the honours and chase the R20 000 prize money.

Tiffany’s Reef was packed with eager groms, parents and friends on Sunday for the NC-Brag junior surfing championships.

The competition had three main categories – U18, U14 and novices.

Jessica Louw emerged as the U18 champion in the girls’ division, with Daniel Edwards taking U18 boys title. The U14 boys winner was Ry Colepepper. Seth Seppings and Frances Wang won the boys and girls novice category respectively.

The wave of the day prize went to eight-year-old Seppings.
