R50 000 up for grabs at Orphan Fund golf day
To be held at Umhlali Country Club on July 29, the fundraiser brings a hole-in-one prize that will have golfers hyper-focused on the flagstick.
The annual North Coast Courier Orphan Fund golf day returns this year with a haul of exciting prizes to be won.
For an ace on the 18th hole, one player could take home a massive R50 000 cheque, with an additional R50 000 donated to the Orphan Fund.
The money has been put up by Marshall Security, who will pair the input with a R25 000 donation directly to the Orphan Fund.
The theme is ‘fun’, so feel free to express yourself with an outfit that will win you the ‘Best Dressed’ prize.
All funds raised go directly to helping the Orphan Fund and the 13 projects it supports.
“We try and support as many deserving initiatives as we can, and clearly the Orphan Fund does amazing work in the community. We hope to continue this relationship going forward and help grow its reach even further,” said Marshall Security marketing director, Graeme Dow.
Another fantastic prize is up for grabs, courtesy of SMG Ballito, who have put up a BMW C400 GT motorbike, also as hole-in-one prize.
SMG Ballito similarly matched the R25 000 donation from Marshall, ensuring the event will be a boon for the Orphan Fund and the causes it supports.
