Ballito cyclists show class at world champs

The two riders who specialise in the Olympic cross-country style of mountain biking, rubbed shoulders with the world's elite.

Two young Ballito cycling stars recently faced off against the world’s best in France and delivered strong performances.

Tyler Jacobs (girls junior) and Justin Swanepoel (boys junior) of DriveTrain Academy, competed in the UCI Mountain Bike World Championships in Les Gets, France.

Olympians, world champions and major names in the sport all turned out in the French Alps for the event.
