Golfers come up aces at Umhlali Country Club Pro-Am
Jake Redman, a professional on the Sunshine Tour since 2010, teamed up with Mahomed Hussen to grab their share of the R1-million prize pot.
George’s Jake Redman and Mahomed Hussen won the Pro-Am section of the SunBet Sibaya Golf Challenge held at Umhlali Country Club recently.
The event took place over the three days preceding the Sunshine Tour event of the same name, which was won by Johannesburg’s Dylan Naidoo.
Redman, a professional on the Sunshine Tour since 2010, teamed up with Hussen to grab their share of the R1-million prize pot.
Martin Rohwer (pro) finished second with Carlyle Field, with Lyle Rowe (pro) and Zuko Banqwa grabbing third.
The SunBet Pro-Am series has five stops alongside the Sunshine Tour, all of which are sponsored by a prominent casino, namely Sibaya, Sun City, Times Square, Wild Coast and Boardwalk.
