Big turnout for Bloom fundraiser at Simbithi Country Club

Debbie Nicholson of Bloom Centre said they were grateful for the support on the day.

The annual Bloom golf day fundraiser proved a hit last Thursday with 112 golfers turning up to support the special needs school in Umhlali.

Held at the Simbithi Country Club, the event included auctions and an ‘Out of Africa’ theme, which saw players dress up for the occasion.

Showing off their ‘Out of Africa’ style were Mike Thorpe, Kyle Nicholson, Dave Heeley and Chris Thorpe.

Debbie Nicholson of Bloom Centre said they were grateful for the support on the day.

David Armour, Stuart Morrison, Garth Anderson and Warren Lewin enjoyed supporting the worthwhile cause.

“We are very blessed to have the support of so many loyal members of our community to help us stay afloat each year, so we in turn can help many special needs children reach their full potential,” Nicholson said.
