The ladies section at Umhlali Country Club came out swinging last Thursday for their 4-ball alliance competition.
Topping the leaderboard was the team of J Church, G Lonsdale, L Field and N Evans who scored 78 points, later winning on a count-out.
Also scoring 78 points, M Horn, M Cameron, C Cozens and C Chamberlain grabbed second place, with C Bruwer, J Bullock, V Williams and L Price taking bronze with 76 points.
The group also bid farewell to Charmaine Le Vieux, a consistent member for the past 20 years, who will be moving to Durban.
