Ballito karate stars shine at national inter-club meet
The four adults and three children represented the Ballito Martial Arts Academy.
Seven Ballito karatekas brought home a barrelful of medals from the Global Traditional Martial Arts inter-club meet in Pretoria last weekend.
The four adults and three children represented the Ballito Martial Arts Academy across a series of disciplines, including point sparring, continuous sparring, combat weapon and patterns.
Together they earned 17 golds, 10 silvers and three bronze medals under the watchful eye of sabumnim Linda Smit (president of GTF KZN) and master Vladimir Grachev (president of GTF and Hapkido SA).
