Ballito teenagers selected for South African U14 action netball team

The three players have qualified to compete in the Indoor Netball World Cup in New Zealand next year.

Brooke Lavagna-Slater, Amy Wolhuter, and Kerryn Todd (non-travelling reserve) have been selected for the South African U14 action netball team.

The trio impressed selectors during the recent inter-provincial tournament, which also served as national trials.

All three players previously represented KwaZulu-Natal in 2021 and 2022. Lavagna-Slater attends St John’s Diocesan School for Girls and plays goal defense, while Wolhuter (centre) and Todd (goal attack) attend Ashton International College in Ballito.

Lavagna-Slater and Wolhuter will both travel to the Indoor Netball World Cup in New Zealand early next year.
