Packed golf week at Umhlali Country Club
The women were back on the course for a betterball pairs competition where Tracylee Raison and Charmaine Bruwer took the honours on 43 points.
Umhlali Country Club’s women golfers recently had two opportunities at glory in a packed double competition week.
First up was the highly anticipated captain vs vice-captain team competition where two handpicked teams faced off for a year’s worth of bragging rights.
It was the turn of the vice-captain’s team this year, who won by a total score of 361 to 344 points.
Later in the week, the women were back on the course for a betterball pairs competition where Tracylee Raison and Charmaine Bruwer took the honours on 43 points.
Sandy Sammons and Nancy Evans finished second on 41 points after a count-out ahead of Corinne Cozens and Liana van der Merwe, also on 41 points.
Tracylee Raison, Carol Chamberlain and Corinne Cozens also achieved the two club challenge on the 6th hole.
