Janine Goes grabs silver at SPAR Challenge

Fellow Dolphin Coast Strider Dylan Bekink finished atop the smaller-in-number men's race in a time of 46:33.

The Dolphin Coast Striders’ Janine Goes finished second in her category at Sunday’s SPAR Women’s Challenge.

Hosted on the Durban beachfront, athletes had the option to take on a 5km or 10km run, with Goes completing the 10km course in 45:28.

That was good for second in the 60+ category behind Judy Bird and 53rd overall.

Fellow Dolphin Coast Strider Dylan Bekink finished atop the smaller-in-number men’s race in a time of 46:33.

Hanri Parker (women) and Scott Parker (men) also crossed the line in Striders’ colours.
