Over 300 runners join Run Out 25 in support of Salt40 Foundation
The annual run saw its largest ever participation on New Year’s Eve.
More than 300 runners closed out the year with a strong show of community spirit at the Run Out 25 event, hosted by Rock Up & Run on December 30.

Now in its third year, the Run Out series continues to grow in both participation and impact. The event welcomed over 100 more participants than in 2024, marking a significant milestone for the local running community.

Organised by We Do Creative in aid of the Salt40 Foundation, a local NGO dedicated to youth upliftment through sport, the run offered walkers and runners a choice of three routes: 4km, 5.6km and 7km, starting and finishing at Hops.

“The growth, the energy and the support were unreal,” said Amanda Howard of We Do Creative.
“Thank you to every single runner, supporter and partner who made Run Out 25 one to remember. Here’s to building this community even bigger in 2026.”

Howard thanked the sponsors of the event.

Monthly runs are hosted on the first Sunday of every month. Follow Rock Up & Run on Facebook and Instagram for updates, event information, and future initiatives.
