Golfers are invited to tee off for a good cause at the 12th Annual Dolphin Coast Warriors Fundraiser Golf Day, which takes place at Umhlali Country Club on Wednesday, July 29.

Held in honour of the late Arno de Wet, the annual event raises funds to support vulnerable individuals and families living in and around Ballito who have lost their support networks.

Organised by the Dolphin Coast Warriors NPC, the initiative has enabled the organisation to provide monthly food vouchers and other assistance to those in need through funds raised at previous golf days.

The competition will begin with a 12pm shotgun start. Fourball alliance entries cost R3,800 per team, while individual golfers can enter for R950 and will be allocated to a team. Entry includes dinner and the prize-giving.

Businesses and individuals can also support the event through tee box sponsorships, prize sponsorships, raffle ticket sales or by donating auction items such as artwork, jewellery, memorabilia or other valuable goods. Among the auction highlights this year is a one-week holiday at Champagne Resort, valued at R30 000.
