Oceanville Cricket Club enjoy strong 2026 campaign
A league win and finals run capped a memorable season.
KwaDukuza’s Oceanville Cricket Club celebrated one of its best-ever seasons at its awards evening on Saturday.
The club’s first team claimed the iLembe T30 League title for the second year running, while the OCC Old Boys reached the final of the iLembe T20 League.
All-rounder Sashen Chetty was named player of the season after finishing as the league’s leading run-scorer with 398 runs and taking seven wickets.
Club vice-president Trinesh Deodat thanked the players, committee and sponsors for an excellent season.
“These achievements reflect the depth of talent within the club and its commitment to maintaining excellence across all levels,” said Deodat.
“Oceanville Cricket Club is built on more than results, it is founded on strong relationships, shared commitment and collective purpose.”
