Ballito artistic gymnasts impress at KZN regionals

Four local Level 4 artistic gymnasts recently competed alongside some of the province’s best and produced impressive performances.

Linathi Bongco (12) from Curro Salt Rock, Libby Maritz (13) and Lily Berger (12) from Umhlali Prep and Rachel France (14), who is home-schooled, competed in the KZNGU Regionals in Pinetown on August 22.

The quartet, all members of Ballito Artistic Gymnastics Club, performed their carefully choreographed routines and earned certificates for their participation.

Rachel produced the standout performance, qualifying for the national championships in Pretoria later this month.
