Ballito runners hit the streets on Heritage Day for Salt40 Foundation

The foundation works with young men to help them become positive leaders in their communities.

A strong turnout of 240 runners hit the streets for the Rock Up and Run Heritage Day event last Thursday.

Participants tackled either the 5.6km run or the 4km walk in support of the Salt40 Foundation.

The foundation’s Martin Barnard thanked Rock Up and Run, Hops and Balwin Properties for their continued support.

“Your partnership helps us invest in our community and, most importantly, in people,” said Barnard.

He said the foundation’s Transformer Programme mentors young entrepreneurs, with a focus on self-awareness, personal growth, values and leadership.

The foundation also works with young men, helping them develop values and principles to prepare them to become positive leaders in their families, workplaces and communities.
