There was plenty of exciting news out of Curro Mount Richmore last week as students celebrated landmark achievements.
On April 18 and 19 Sonique Mouton and Franche Muller dazzled spectators at the SANESA equestrian show in Pietermaritzburg.
Sonique achieved an impressive fourth place in the equitation event and earned a pitch-perfect first place rosette in performance riding.
Franche, meanwhile, won second place in her performance riding event.
Diving into the deep-end was of no concern for young swimmer Henk Heymans as he competed in the school nationals at Kingsmead between March 27 and 29.
The gifted swimmer secured four silver medals in various events while taking home two golds in the 200m freestyle and backstroke events.
Curro looks forward to seeing all three young athletes doing South Africa proud one day in the Olympic Games!
Also burning with pride are the school’s grade eight students and their parents as they received their high school blazers.
This great honour is the first step on the pupils’ high school path.
