Water polo selections landed

North Coast waterpolo players get the nod for South African team.

Best friends since Grade 1, North Coast boys and students at Glenwood High, James Livingstone and Slade du Randt have achieved a massive milestone together in their long friendship as they were both selected for the South Africa U16A water polo team.

The two local best mates became national teammates after successful trials over two days in the Easter holidays. James and Slade outplayed over 45 of their counterparts from all over the country to secure their places in the international tournament to be held in Malta, in July of this year.

James’ mother, Robin Livingstone said she “is beaming with pride” for both young men, wishing them the best of luck as they embark on this exciting opportunity.
