Ashton International College Ballito hosts exciting inter-house swimming gala

Cambridge House victorious in Ashton's swimming gala.

With the new school year just weeks old, there was no delaying sport activity at Ashton International College Ballito.

Swimmers quickly got into action at last week’s inter-house gala and showed some fine form.

Champions of the day were:

  • U14 boys: Greg Kalil,
  • U14 girls: Ella van der Vyver,
  • U15 boys: Michael Doull,
  • U15 girls: Jessica Smith,
  • U16 boys: Malachi Holtzhausen,
  • U16 girls: Hannah Ferreira,
  • U17 boys: Stirling Dempsey,
  • U17 girls: Emily Lott,
  • Open boys: Jethro Goss
  • Open girls: Jenna Ellse.
U14 champions were Ella van der Vyver and Greg Kalil.

The Junior Victrix Ludorum was Ella van der Vyver and the Junior Victor Ludorum, Greg Kalil.

Emily Lott and Stirling Dempsey claimed the honours in the girls’ and boys’ U17 sections respectively.

Hannah Ferreira was named Senior Victrix Ludorum, and Malachi Holtzhausen the Senior Victor Ludorum.

Cambridge House emerged victorious with 1 050 points, followed by Oxford House on 811 and London House on 791 points.
