Street Heroes unite
Street Heroes' main sponsors and celebrities met at Laguna Seca to promote the main event which will take place on September 13.
Glimmering in the sun, a Ferrari 458 Spider and a Mercedes SLS took centre stage at the Street Heroes photo-shoot on Wednesday, August 21.
As the prestigious motoring event draws closer, sponsors and celebrities came out to promote the event and showcase a few of the cars that will roar down the Laguna Seca track on September 13.
“The idea is to find the real street heroes and to give car enthusiasts and petrol heads the chance to participate in a track event,” said Danie van Wyk, managing director at Edusport Travel, the organisers of the event.
Street Heroes will encompass several categories of cars including supercars, muscle cars, cobra’s and other classes that will be driven by regular driving fanatics. Major sponsors for the event include title sponsor Ballito Auto SMD, official partner Fairmont Zimbali, Ilembe Chamber of Commerce and KwaDukuza municipality.
