A tribute to a pop icon of pop, The Greatest Love Of All – The Whitney Houston Show will present and celebrate Whitney’s most loved songs from the span of her 29 year career.
Straight from the USA, the production stars Belinda Davids as Whitney in the two and half concert meets stage show, which includes hits such as How Will I Know, I Wanna Dance With Somebody and the women’s anthem I’m Every Woman.
Belinda’ ethereal voice has seen her as a solo recording artist and a support act and backing vocalist for such acts as The Temptations, Keri Hilson, Keyshia Cole, Monica and Johnny Gill. This South African born vocalist released a self titled album in the 1990s. One of her singles, “We Go Together” was number one for six weeks in the local music charts.
Recently while performing “I Will Always Love You” in Hong Kong she was requested by the audience to sing acapella as they thought she was lip-syncing to the original Whitney Houston song, after which she received a standing ovation.
Belinda will showcase her exquisite voice as Whitney at Izulu Theatre in Sibaya Casino on December 5 to January 5 and Wild Coast Sun Resort and Casino on December 30.
