Keep your children happy and occupied with these fun things to do during the school holidays.
Keeping the kids busy this holidays is no easy task and with the constant threat of load shedding, we hope these entertainment ideas keep you out of the dark as term ends this week.

Ushaka Marine World
Sea World is presenting another installment of its popular Marine Holiday Course.
The course is ideal for tweens, who enjoy both the wonders of the marine world and exercising their creativity, as there are a number of craft activities planned.
It takes place July 6 to July 8 and cost R315 for the three days for children aged eight to 12. Mail education@seaworld.org.za for a booking form. Booking is essential.
Flag Animal Farm
A whole host of fun activities are to be had at this interactive family-farm during the school break with daily activities appealing to mom, dad and the kids.
At 11am every day, the farm holds its unique and exciting ‘Wolf Interaction’ where members of the public can see the beautiful Alaskan wolves resident on the farm.
Between 12pm and 3pm children can join milking shows, where they can meet the farm’s much loved dairy cows and milk them by hand. Dancing, singing and the bottle feeding of the farm’s young animals can also be enjoyed.
At 12.45pm every day, children have the chance to meet Barney the Dinosaur as he visits the park to interact with his biggest fans.
For all those with a brave heart and a brimming sense of adventure, a creatures and critters show will be held at 1.30pm every day, where people can hold reptiles and a collection strange animals. Tel 032 947 2018
Ndlondlo Reptile Park
Ndlondlo is geared to educate the youngest to the oldest about these often misunderstood creatures.
The park boasts two underground snake enclosures containing over 15 different species of indigenous snakes (including the infamous black and green mambas) and a python tank, home to a reticulated python and a pair of anacondas.

The Holiday Bible Club
The Holiday Bible Club has been running for about 10 years, making sure that children on the North Coast can join in on safe, fun-filled activities during the holidays.
A number of North Coast churches volunteer time to put together a five day holiday program for children and loads of fun is to be had with sing along sessions, puppet time, bible stories, games, crafts and wacky experiments in a crazy science lab. All the activities combined inspire a daily message with an overall theme for the week.
This is the third year it will run from the All Souls Anglican Church in Umhlali and children aged four to grade four are all welcome from June 29 to July 3. The activities will take place Monday to Friday from 8am to 12.30pm. Cost is R60 per child per day or R250 for the week. Numbers are limited so hurry!
