Coastal Living Bru foodie fun starts tonight

Running alongside the Ballito Pro presented by Billabong, the Coastal Living Bru Food and Wine Exhibition should not be missed.

Tonight the Coastal Living Bru Food and Wine Exhibition will start from 5.30pm at La Montagne Resort in Ballito.

This is the place to be if you are a lover of good food and wine, topped off with some fun entertainment!

The popular cooking competition, the Fleur du Cap So You Think You Can Cook Ballito Style kicks off tonight after 7pm where professional chefs paired with amateur chefs will try and impress the expert panel of judges.

They will have to cook with mystery box ingredients to the theme of ‘liquid motion – the evolution of epic.’

The chefs were officially paired together last week at La Montagne.

The teams are:

Mark Eve (THE SECRET KITCHEN) and Nadine Murison

Monique Naude (New York Restaurant & Bar) and Cassidy van den Heever.

Dean Uren (Fairmont Zimbali Resort) and Morwenna Lintott

John McArdle (La Piazza) and Cameron Easton

David Hoehler (North Coast Courier) and Wendy Bouwer

Jacobson Mthembu (Mozambik Restaurant) and Jorge Guilherme

Aida Gengan (Amapurna Bistro) and Grant Wills

Michael Ovens (The Beach Hut) and Kyle Dick

At 6pm tonight the Fine Young Cooks Awards will also take place where young chefs paired with students from the International Hotel School will try and wow the judges with their skills.
