Win tickets to South Africa’s premier Koi Show

Get to know more about this fascinating hobby!

The annual SA National Koi Show is back!

This Koi Show has gained the reputation for being the premier Koi Show in South Africa, attracting the very best quality koi in the country.

It takes place from July 25 to July 26 and is being held in Parkade D at the Gateway Theatre of Shopping in Umhlanga.

In addition koi dealers will be coming from around South Africa, offering the public an opportunity to see everything that is available to not only koi hobbyists but those who simply enjoy water and garden features.

Very few people get to see koi fish measuring over 90 cm in length, with stunning colours, gracefully swimming just feet away from them!

The koi on show are mostly from private collections and the public would not otherwise get to see such koi were it not for this event.

The South African Koi Keepers Society will have judges coming over from the United Kingdom, Holland and Thailand to judge the koi entries, together with local South African judges.

There will be 38, three metre diameter ponds erected on the show site, filled with treated water and lots of air to keep the 400 odd koi happy.

The show opens at 8am on Saturday until 5pm and Sunday the show is open from 9am to 3pm.

We have seven tickets to give away, which will give two adults and two children access to the show on both days!
