Halloween at the Barnyard
Get your scary look on and have a horror-filled party at the Barnyard theatre.
The Barnyard Theatre at Gateway are celebrating Halloween for the first time on Saturday, October 31, with two special events.
The first is a fun event for families in the afternoon, with the theatre opening at 11.30am, and activities from 12pm to 2pm.
This will include a Hall Of Horrors, face painters, a magician, and trick or treat stations. There will also be a hip-hop dancing display, followed by a dance-off for the kids.
Things will be amped up in the evening for adults when things kick off at 5.30pm, in preparation for the Rugby World Cup final on the theatre’s big screen.
You can experience the House Of Horrors, have your face painted by special effect make-up artists and can visit the specially dedicated shooter bar.
The screening of the Rugby World Cup final will then be followed by The Barnyard’s current show, Viva Las Vegas, with a DJ and dance floor keeping the party going thereafter.
Everyone attending both events is encouraged to not only dress up but to also decorate their seating area in a Halloween theme, with prizes up for grabs!
The Barnyard’s kitchen will be open from 11.30am until 8pm when the evening’s show starts.
Tickets are R130 per person for the afternoon show, and R250 for the evening show, with seating being as for normal shows.
