The Great Moscow Circus is heading to Durban

The world’s favourite circus is back in town this March

The world-famous Great Moscow Circus is returning to SA with an all new world premiere programme.

Regarded as Russia’s most-famous calling card, the circus is coming to SA at a cost of R80 million, with a two-hour programme of sensational, affordable, family entertainment, capturing all the thrills and fun of the circus of yesteryear with all the skill and daring of today’s circus heroes.

Featuring more than 65 circus super stars, including the best from Russia and the cream of the international circus world, the Great Moscow Circus brings with it more than 100 tonnes of equipment.

It will perform every possible circus favourite – the funniest clowns, the most-daring acrobats, death-defying daredevils, aerial artists, balancers, showgirls and much more – all supported by a live circus band and under the fabulous 1,700 all-chair seating, air-conditioned mighty Great Moscow Circus Big Top tent.

Back by popular demand is ringmaster, Stanislav “Stas” Knyazkov, fresh from a US season with Ringling Brothers, Barnum and Bailey, where he was an audience favourite. Stas will have a huge supporting cast in 18 thrilling acts.

Committed to a kinder world, The Great Moscow Circus SA contains no animal acts.

Tickets for the shows at Suncoast Casino & Entertainment World go on sale on March 10 at Computicket outlets nationally and ticket prices range from just R195 to R595 per person.
