Food, fashion and music tonight at Ballito Pro!
Make sure to join at the Night of Food and Wine on Tuesday or Wednesday for some good food and good vibes

Get your taste buds fired up at the Night of Food and Wine event starting tonight at the main festival area at Willard beach.
Running until tomorrow, the two night culinary extravaganza offers a great mix between live cook-offs, fashion shows and tunes with wine tastings throughout the night.

Night one: July 4
5pm – 6pm: Simply Models fashion show and competition and winners announcements.
6pm – 6.20pm: Parkour entertainment by street riders.
6.25pm – 7.05pm: Fine young cooks freak shake competition and winners announcements.
This is where kids aged 6-13 years get crazy with ice cream, cream and lots of toppings to create the ultimate shake. Judges will be looking for the wackiest, freakiest shake around so give it your best.
Teams of two will compete and create the best shake and present their creations to the judges. Each team will be required to bring their ingredients and assemble on the evening. They must also come up with an awesome team name and dress the part! They don’t only have to taste good but be camera worthy too. The winning team will be crowned the Fine Young Cooks “Freak Shake” Team of 2017 and their creation will be featured on Concha’s menu. The entry fee is R250 per team.
7.10pm – 8pm: Celebrity cook off.
8.05pm – 9pm: DJ Fuego heat presented by counter culture.

Night two: July 5
5pm – 6pm: Simply Models fashion show and competition and winners announcements.
6pm – 7pm: Shisa nyama proudly African cook off. Contestants will be flaming it up cooking back to their roots as each team of two will get a sizzling mystery box challenge set by the judges – Celebrity Chef Callie-Anne Cooks and Eldry Leibrandt of Shisa Mfethu’s Ultimate Braai Masters. So think of a team name, dress accordingly and come celebrate your heritage. Entry fees are R300 per team.
7pm – 7.15pm: Sugar Dance entertainment.
7.20 – 7.30: Winners announcement.
7.35 -8.25: Demo featuring Callie-Anne Gavazzi.
8.30 -9.30: Avade band presented by Counter Culture.
