Friday, November 3
- The next Hirsch’s Ballito Ladies Networking Morning will be held at Hirsch’s Ballito at 9am. Guest speaker will be COO of Hirsch’s Home stores, Margaret Hirsch. Bookings are essential. Contact shane@hirschs.co.za or 032-9467400.

Saturday, November 4
- Visit the Saturday Car Boot Sale in Ballito on the first Saturday of every month for locally made products, knick-knacks, pancakes and second hand items at great prices. - Head down to Sugar Rush Park every Saturday for the Sugar Rush Market from 7.30-noon. Browse through fresh, home made, hand made, local and organically produced products to support our local growing and developing area. Contact Gill at gill@sugarrush.co.za

- Leef Gemeente church based in Salt Rock will be hosting a vibrant evening of sokkie and langarm, in aid of vulnerable women living on the streets of Durban. The fundraiser is set to take place at Curro Mount Richmore School on November 4 at 6pm, to raise awareness for the Hope’s Anchor NGO in Durban that aims to get women and young girls off the streets and under a safe roof. Organiser of the event Melanie Maritz said people are welcome to bring along their picnic baskets, as there are no alcohol or food stands. Entrance is R100 per adult and at no cost for children.

- Umhlali Country Club will be hosting a comedy night and once again it’s a stellar lineup. Multiple Comics’ Choice Award-nominated comedian Alfred Adriaan will be joined by hilarious British comedian Martin Davis, one of Durban’s funniest and most-loved comic, Kelvin Stoffels, and East Coast Radio’s funnyman Rory Petzer! It’s a 90-minute comedy feast that’ll have you rolling in your seat! Enjoy a lovely meal in the restaurant before the show (between 6pm and 8pm). The show starts at 8.30pm. Sunday, November 5
- The Tinley Manor Shree Siva Soobramaniar temple society will hold a 5.5km fun walk at 8am from the Tinley Manor Temple to Tinley Beach. Entry fee is R20 for adults and R10 for school pupils. Lucky draw prizes up for grabs. To book call Bob at 061 404 7146.
