A comedy night and more on the Coast this weekend
From the Litchi Orchard farmers market to The JOY dogs making an appearance in Ballito, there is much on the go this weekend!

Friday, 10 November
- Stanger Hospital will celebrate world diabetes day at KwaDukuza Town Hall at 10 am. Residents are encouraged to attend as they will be educated on diabetes signs and symptoms, how to manage diabetes as well as how to live a healthy life with diabetes.

- Riaad Moosa will be hosting his one man comedy show at The Playhouse Theatre in Durban at 8pm on 10, 11 and 12 November. The show is called “Life Begins” – a snapshot into his life as a 40-year-old, a father of three kids, husband, comedian, actor and with all the current cultural and political issues thrown in. The show is rated PG for language and tickets start at R150 and are now open at Computicket online and various outlet stores.
Saturday, 11 November
- JOY Dogs has been serving the educational sector since 2011 with a mission to educate learners about responsible pet ownership and safety around dogs. This Saturday Sue Green, along with Jazmine (10 years old), Oscar (8 years old) and Yola (5 years old) will be making an appearance at BBS Ballito at 9am and Shaves Ballito at 10am.

- The Litchi Orchard Farmers Market is on the second Saturday every month. A feast of local produce and creativity will be on show. Live entertainment sets the mood and crafts are also on sale. Fun for the whole family! Contact The Litchi Orchard at 032-5255118.
- Every Saturday morning Forest Hills German Shepherd Club Ballito holds dog training for all breeds at Townsend park, Ballito. Times are as follows: 8am advanced; 9.45am beginners. Contact chairperson Gaby Lyle on 082 925 6481.

- Head down to Sugar Rush Park every Saturday for the Sugar Rush Market from 7.30-noon. Browse through fresh, home made, hand made, local and organically produced products to support our local growing and developing area. Contact Gill at gill@sugarrush.co.za
