A night market and more on the Coast this weekend

Friday, December 22

• You can look forward to local food, drink, live music and festivities at the Litchi Orchard Night Market. Entry fee is R30 and you can bring along your chairs, blankets and the whole family to support the local traders. Kiddies under 12 pay R20 and under five get in for free.

• Enjoy Christmas carol singing with the All Saints Catholic Church at the Ballito Junction Regional Mall from 6pm – 8pm.

• From 15 – 24 December, Father Christmas and his elves will be entertaining the little guests between Lifestyle SUPERSPAR and Chateau Gateaux, while face painters, stilt walkers and balloon sculptors will be sure to entertain young and old alike alongside four free gift wrapping stations around the centre.

Saturday, December 23

• The community is invited to come and find a bargain this coming Saturday at the Ballito Car Boot Sale & Christmas market between 9am-4pm in the car park of Ballito Bay Mall. NPO’s and locals will be selling either good second hand items for next to nothing or really good items as perfect gifts for Christmas. Make sure you get there early!

• Head down to Sugar Rush Park every Saturday for the Sugar Rush Market from 7.30-noon. Browse through fresh, home made, hand made, local and organically produced products to support our local growing and developing area. Contact Gill at gill@sugarrush.co.za.

• The Holiday Express train ride experience for the whole family will take you and your family for a fun family-oriented one-day train trip from the Premier Lounge, Durban Station.
