Gear up for the Classic at Sugar Rush
The Ales for Tails craft beer and music festival will create a wonderful atmosphere over both the Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning.

Grab your cycling gear and head on down to Sugar Rush Park this weekend for the annual 2018 Holla Sugar Rush Classic.
Set to be one of the biggest Mountain Bike Races of the year, MTB fanatics can look forward to an exciting two days, jam packed with cycling, live music, craft beer, great food and so much more.
Families are welcome as there will be kiddies races held on Saturday, 16 June and the MTB classic to be held on Sunday.
The Sunday will see the five and 12km trail runs as well as the 19 and 45km MTB classic races with an option to do both the 5km run and 19km MTB race.
Entertainment
The Classic will be partnering with the Ales for Tails craft beer and music festival to create a wonderful atmosphere over both the Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning.
The festival will boast some of Durban’s finest musicians while you can enjoy tasting beer and gin from our local breweries and distilleries.
Ales for Tails is a passionately-supported fundraiser where sponsors, craft breweries and distilleries, musicians, food traders and volunteers pull together to support local animal shelters in KZN.
Nearly R250 000 has been raised from three events since 2016.
Funds raised from ticket, drink and food sales will be donated to Sables Creatures, Feeding the Furballs, Animally Haven, Furever Pet Rescue, Feline Feral Fund Ballito, Blue Sky Society and Phoenix Animal Care and Treatment.
Kids entertainment will also be provided at the venue (kids play area, jump park and laser tag options).

Prizes
Cash prizes to be won for the main categories and kiddies to receive medals only.
The Gears 4 Ears King and Queen of the Mountain have been included in the prizes for 2018.
- The Mr Auto Repair Queen of the Mountain
- The Laatz Electrical King of the Mountain
Both winners will receive a Polka dot jersey and R2,000 prize money.
