Friday, 22 June

  • Grab your baggies and bikinis and get ready to soak up the warm winter sun as KwaDukuza welcomes The Ballito Pro presented by Billabong and the biggest beach festival on the continent during the last week of June. Living up to the 50th anniversary theme, #LiveTheLegacy, this year is going to blow you away not only from an international surfing standard, but also with the non-stop entertainment side.   • Join Kurt Darren and a variety of SA artists for the family-friendly outdoor music festival, Super Naweek in association with Capitec happening at the Blythedale Event Bowl. The weekend will feature various top artists like Dozi, Pieter Smit, Karlien van Jaarsveld, Kurt Darren, Dewald Wasserfall and Die Campbells.   • Enjoy live music at The Market at Ballito Lifestyle Centre. Crystin Parnell will be performing from 3.30pm – 5.30pm, followed by Zoe and The Bullets from 6pm – 8pm.

Saturday, 23 June

  • Enjoy live music at The Market at Ballito Lifestyle Centre. Enjoy Liam Paul on Piano from 9.30am – 11.30am, followed by James Freedom from 12pm – 2pm and Johnny Casquinha from 2.30pm – 4.30pm.

  • Every Saturday morning Forest Hills German Shepherd Club Ballito holds dog training for all breeds at Townsend park, Ballito. Times are as follows: 7:50am advanced; 8.30am beginners.

  • Karate South Africa (KSA) tournament fighters fresh from a major victory at the recent Africa Zone six championships in Botswana are fighting fit and raring to go for the weekend’s SA open and Elite karate championships at the Tongaat Sports Centre. The fighting will begin at 10am and go through to 3pm and promises to be an action packed day.
  • The Ballito Dolphins rugby club are back at home this weekend, where they will take on UKZN at Sugar Rush Park. Kick off for second team is 1.30pm, followed by the first team at 3pm. Bring your picnic blanket, grab a drink and a bite to eat and enjoy a day out under the Dolphin Coast sun while you support your boys!
