Friday, July 27

  • Enjoy live music at the Ballito Lifestyle Centre. Deon and Darango will be performing at The Market from 5.30pm – 7.30pm. Head across to Eat Street for live music by Ross Charles from 6.30pm – 9.30pm.
  • Total full moon eclipse, and the longest lunar eclipse of the 21st century, will be viewable from South Africa on Friday, July 27. Those on the North Coast can enjoy the rare spectacle between 7pm (Penumbral begins) and midnight (Partial ends).

Saturday, July 28

  • What better way to start your Saturday than with a morning run through the North Coast’s beautiful sugarcane fields. Head down to Sugar Rush Park for the weekly 5km Parkrun starting at 8am sharp.

  • Westbrook Retirement Village invites residents to support the Saturday Car Boot sale from 7am to 12pm. Find them at the park opposite the BP Garage, the same entrance as the Ballito Gesinskerk.
  • Kids, put on your creative thinking caps and show off your business idea at the Young Entrepreneurs Market (YEM) at Sugar Rush on July 28 at 8am.

  • All Souls Anglican Church are hosting an art and photography exhibition from 9am – 4pm on Saturday and 11am – 12pm on Sunday. The theme will be God’s Creation.
  • Enjoy live music at the Ballito Lifestyle Centre. The lineup at The Market is: 10am – 12pm Drew Hort, 12.30pm – 2.30pm John Ellis, 3pm – 5pm Rob Stories and 5.30pm – 8.30pm Steve Graham. Around the corner at Eat Street, Gavin Ferguson will b performing live from 6.30pm – 9.30pm.

  • Enjoy an evening of entertainment and music and a set, three-course meal at Mamma G’s (Ballito Junction) at 6.30pm to help the RE/MAX Charity Committee raise funds for Ballito Neighbourhood Watch and Salt Rock Neighbourhood Watch to buy four Automatic Number Plate Recognition cameras.

Sunday, July 29

  • Enjoy live music at the Ballito Lifestyle Centre. Enjoy Liam on Piano from 10am – 12pm, followed by James Freedom from 12.30pm – 3.30pm at The Market. Crystin Parnell will be performing live at Eat Street from 12.30pm – 3.30pm.
