Understanding and embracing our different cultures was the message of the day by award-winning business woman and guest speaker Patricia Schröder at Hirsch’s business networking event recently.
Schröder’s inspiring talk titled “Cross Cultural Intelligence” highlighted the importance of embracing different cultures especially in SA, which is such a melting pot of different cultures and rich heritages.
The power woman’s entrepreneurial spirit lead to the invention of her business Reclite SA – a unique project to recycle electric lights and prevent landfills being filled with poisonous mercury and other toxins.
She landed her first prize in the 2016 Ilembe Chamber Entrepreneur competition.
She was also named Margaret Hirsch Woman in Business Achiever of the Year KZN 2018 and most recently was named the 2018 Fair Lady Santam Woman of the Future.
