A night with Chopin, Bach and Beethoven
Three double tickets are up for grabs!
Forget your everyday stresses and be transported into a world of sublime music by piano whiz Christopher Duigan performing at Ashton International College’s Grace Hall on September 19 at 7pm.
Following standing ovations for last month’s programme of virtuoso keyboard classics by Frantz Liszt, Duigan will play a new selection this month titled ‘The World’s Most Beautiful Piano Music’.
With gentle, delicate and sometime passionate feelings at the fore, this creatively curated programme includes evergreens such as Chopin’s Nocturne in D-flat, Bach’s Prelude in C, Beethoven’s Adagio from ‘Pathetique’ Sonata and music by Debussy, Ravel and Mozart.
Contemporary piano sketches from Yann Tiersen and Ludovico Einaudi complement the masterpieces in a programme designed to uplift, soothe and transport the audience for the duration of the concert.
Make sure not to miss this go-to recital by securing your tickets at Webtickets.co.za available at Pick ‘n Pay or send a mail to booking@musicrevival.co.za or WhatsApp 083 417 4473.
