The weekend has arrived! Here is your events and entertainment guide!

Friday, September 28

  • Don’t miss Orchard Nights (Spring Night) at the Litchi Orchard. Bring along your picnic blankets and chairs and look forward to quality food and drinks and live music. Entry fee is R40pp cash, R35pp Zapper/ card, kids u12 free.

  • In celebration of heritage month, The Luthuli Museum, Groutville brings you the king of the Zulu guitar, Madala Kunene. Doors will open at 6pm and tickets will cost R30. Call 083 337 2518.

Join in the festivities at the Oktoberfest this weekend at The Market. You will be treated to live music by a 10 piece Oompah Band, Kameraden Kapelle, while enjoying German specials from participating food outlets at the Market from 6pm – 8pm.

Saturday, September 29

IPSS Medical Rescue will be hosting a blood drive from 9am – 3pm at Unit 7, Wow Park, 2 Gourly Road.

  • Support National Cupcake Day 4 Kids with Cancer outside Lifestyle Superspar from 8am – 1pm.
  • Mrs Africa Classic 2019 finalist Margie Els invites you to the Love & Dignity High Tea fundraiser for Dignity Dreams and DeskTops at Umhlali Country Club from 12pm – 3pm. Tickets cost R150 and must be booked via Nikita at 062 774 9389. Dress code is red.

  • The Rotary Club of Ballito will be hosting the first annual Ballito Family Festival at Umhlali Preparatory. Head down to the school for two days of fun for the whole family. The festival will boast live music, a beer and gin garden, food stalls, car and motorbike displays, a vintage car display, a kids play area and crafters and marketers. Starts at 9.30am.
